January is almost over

I had fun this morning and I didn't have high expectations since they had forecasted high wind, rain and cold temperatures.  Fortunately I was out early during a short 2 hour window that had no wind, no rain and wasn't too cold.  This was taken by Sal of http://rightspotattherighttime.blogspot.com/  Thank you Sal!

Can you believe 01/2011 is almost over?

Full Moon last Thursday.

I woke up really early to surf the huge swell this past week.

Unfortunately it wasn't as big as expected but this full moon didn't dissappoint.

Parents night out on Friday.

GoPro HD - My new toy.

Smita got me a new toy this last Christmas and i got a chance to take it out and play this morning.

These are the results.  Not awesome but they will get better over time.

Cold gear in use.

Morning air temperature has been between 43 and 48 degrees on the worst mornings and the water is a "warm" 55-60 degrees.  

Now you know the African in me cannot stand that for too long hence the new gear!
