Luke's perfect day - Santa Monica Pier

We decided to spend the weekend after Thanksgiving away from the malls and shops to avoid the craziness so we headed to Santa Monica Pier.  This is Luke's ideal day and he loved it.  Laila on the other hand;not so much but she had her share of fun.

Don't let the look on Minni Mouse fool you.  She asked for a tip for taking a photo with Luke.

Waves in November

Today, we set our clocks back one hour and that meant an extra hour of surfing for me in some really good conditions. I had a blast!! After church and brunch, the kids and I played in the sand until they were completely pooped. (literally in Laila's case)
